Alright now first things first...you know I (Dave) am not one for posting on the blog, but over the last few days we have been having the chance to hang out with some of the BEST Friends that we have made while living here in Utah (which crazy as it sounds is approaching 10 years!!) before we head off to the east coast. And I am amazed at the amount of memories and good times we have enjoyed with so many people!! It also amazes me at how attached I become to friends...it is by far one of the hardest parts of moving, saying goodbye to all these people I have grown so close to and rely so much upon. So out of these last couple nights have come some tough goodbyes and some great rehashing of the "GOOD TIMES". The other morning(4am) one of our closest friends the Derricks posted an entry on their blog highlighting some of our times together...so I pirated it and put it on our sight. I loved the pics and stories and wanted to have them on our blog for everyone to check out!!
I feel like I need to give a huge thanks to all our friends out here and want you all to know how much we are going to miss being around all of you!! Please stay in contact and you all are ALWAYS welcome back EAST with us...Please visit!! (well as soon as we find a place, our 2 bedroom apt in White Plains could be tight?!). Thanks guys we love you all!

A New Adventure...(the Derricks)A new Adventure!!
I am not the type of person that wears my feelings on my sleeve-so to speak. I don't usually shed tears over to many things in life(well openly!) and yet it is 4:00 in the morning, and i can't sleep because my emotions are FINALLY getting the better side of me. Last night we got to go to dinner with some of our BEST FRIENDS the BRAMMIES as we call them!!
Going to dinner isn't the part that is bringing tears to my eyes, it is the fact that they are going to be moving to NEW YORK next week and my mind has been flooding with so many GREAT memories we have had with them over the last 6 years!!! There are MANY...........
Dave and Tyler enjoyed doing the spider on the swing!! it was hilarious!!We got to go the New Jersey with them and spend the week at the beach .It was one of our favorite vacations ever!
Ali Loves the BRAMMIES!! She wouldn't go to anyone other than Dave or Tracie- That says a lot.

No matter what we do
Dave and Tracie are some of the funnest people you will ever meet. Instantly you are taken back by Daves insane amount of energy and craziness. And Tracie just takes you in as a best friend and you love both of them instantly!! Well that is how it was for us!!!
I have so many great memories from endless hours of the Marble game to paintball, biking, swimming, playing co-ed soccer, volleyball nights, tennis attempts, movies, rock climbing, inventing the first full length slip and slide. The list goes and goes. We have done so much together it is amazing. They are the type of people who will try anything with you, and always make it exciting! Some of my favorite memories with Dave and Tracie are the simple yet always fun nights of just chillin'!! It has become a well known fact that Dave and I are the greatest "friendly banterers" ever. We can talk smack like the best of them, and I will miss that emensly- and so will Fro. Ali is the type of girl that doesn't open up easily to anyone. Dave and Tracie were the first people that she would even talk to , and she really loves the Brammies and will miss both of them tons!
Our bowling league- and the Winners trophy that me and Tracie both were winners of!! Tracie is always fun to compete against- she is almost better than me at Everything!!THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2009

A New Adventure
For all those who don't know, our family is embarking on a new adventure. Taylor is sporting the new adventure.
Yes we are moving to New York. Dave accepted a job in Tarrytown, New York beginning October 26. He will be working for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. We are so sad to leave Utah because we are comfortable here and my family is here and some of Dave's family are here and our friends are here and we love the mountains and this is where are children were born, etc, etc, etc. But as we prayed and thought about the decision to move we both felt that nothing was holding us back and that it was the right move for us, especially for Dave's career. So, PEACE OUT to Utah and everyone here. We will do our best to keep in touch. We hope you will all do the same. The good thing is that my family is here and we will be back, hopefully at least once a year.
P.S. By the way we are selling a beautiful home in an incredible neighborhood, which has a pool included in the HOA. If you know anyone looking let us know :)

St. George
We were lucky enough to be invited by the Broadbents to St. George for the weekend and we had so much fun. We got a little lost trying to find the Villa but eventually located it with the help of Dave (not my husband, Dave Broadbent). The place we stayed was amazing. It had a fun kids room with bunkbeds, a TV, game table, bean bags and more. We got to stay in the incredibly decorated master bedroom. Lets just say I wish I had that place!
BC for Dave!
As most of you know I was nice enough to let my husband take off and go Mt. Biking in British Columbia for 5 days. He had so much fun and I am happy to say that we survived at home without him. We really missed him though. I am posting his pictures but I don't know much about his trip so you will have to ask him. Ok, I know a little bit - he said the riding was amazing and he say 4 bears and a wolf, SCARY! Thanks to Fro and Kade for taking care of him.

Bramhall Family
Mike and Alison with their children, which we don't get to see very oftern, have come to Utah and we have already had so much fun. Friday night we went camping up American Fork Canyon. It was chilly but we had a lot of fun. The kids were so cute and loved going for hikes with Grandpa.
Sunday we blessed the newest member of the family, Lydia Rachel, and it was such a wonderfual blessing.
Monday we went to Discovery Gateway and followed it up with swimming at the Ivory Ridge swimming pool.
GO Dave & Happy Birthday!
Dave did his second triathlon this year and Taylor and I got to go watch. My mom and dad watched the twins for us, thanks!
Dave was fast! He shaved off 4 minutes from his time last year. He was 5th in his age group and 16th overall. Just a side note-Dave hardly trains! He amazes me.
