Taylor wasn't sure what was going on at first but he caught on that when he saw a bright colored egg he should get it. He was really cute Sunday morning. We had a trail of eggs that led him to his Easter basket of goodies and fun stuff. He has loved getting some Easter candy from daddy.
Thanks to Uncle Carl and Aunt Geri for hosting the Draper party and to Grandma Lee for hosting the Lee party. It was really good to see everyone. I especially loved to see Lesa in her Easter attire :)

Easter
Spring Time is here!

Our family has really been enjoying the warmer weather and no snow. Taylor loves to go outside and just play in the dirt. He loves to eat it and throw it at the dogs and me. He also loves to put small rocks in his mouth and throw the big ones at me. Yesterday he helped Dave work on the sprinklers by playing with the funny pipe.
We have also been trying to go to some parks and enjoy nature. Dave has also taken Taylor for a hike or two.

Step by Step
Taylor is finally walking. That is a good and bad thing - most parents know that. He does fall a lot more and that is very upsetting to him. He still loves to crawl because it is much faster. I also think he believes that is the way to go - the dogs are on all four and they are his best friends so why should he stand up. Anyway, it is so cute and we are really excited to see him walk. Sorry the video isn't that great, I tried to do it by myself and he just wanted to get the camera and wouldn't let me film. Along with walking he is starting to say a few words. He loves to say "ew" very time he sees something exciting and when dad comes home from work. He says "Mama", "Dada", and has said "Hi", "Bye" and loves to make animal noises - his favorite is barking. He hears barking everyday and believes it is a form of speech. Maybe he understands what the dogs are saying and can talk with them, I wouldn't doubt it.
