GOING HOME!!!

Well, the twins are doing great. They even told us we could leave to go home yesterday afternoon, but due to a last minute bout of Taylors, with a flu bug, we decided to hang out until this morning! Tay is doing fine today after some serious sickness yesterday. The twins are both very healthy and we are all anxious to be at home and not sleeping in hospital beds. Here are a couple photos of the twins in the last couple days...they just keep getting cuter!

PS- thanks to everyone who has come to visit and take care of us...you are all the greatest friends!!

BABIES BABIES BABIES!!!

Well, they are finally here...at exactly 37 weeks. That is early, but I think Tracie was more than ready to be done! Tracie started getting very nausious and sick yesterday after church and we decided to hit the hospital around 9:30. They decided pretty quickly she would be stay and by 12:53 AM Drew was born, his little sister Lana followed 15 minutes later. I wish I could say those fifteen minutes were just resting but unfortunatly Tracie got to give birth both ways, Drew normally and then Lana wouldnt flip so she was emergency C-sectioned out...in a matter of minutes! Both are now in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). Lana who was 17 in and 5lbs 7oz is doing great, already eating and only on an IV. Drew was born at 18.5 in and weighed 5lbs even. He is haivng a bit more trouble but progressing quickly. He had to have a whole bunch of repiratory treatments and has a small whole in one of his lungs. All issues should cure themselves within a couple days! So WE ARE EXTATIC!! I will try to add some photos...this is my first time ever "posting"??
These are of Tracie and I before delivery...with twins we had to deliver in the operating room. Sweet get-up huh??!! Yes, Traice took the pic on the OR table!!

Here is Tracie on the table still with Lana while they are sewing here up... everyone seemed to be HAPPY!!

And here they are in all there newborn glory...

Drew is the one with the "Trunk" and Lana is always laying spread eagle...they say that is normal for babies that are breech in the womb. I promise I will get some better photos once they are unhooked from all the machines! Thanks for all the help and care, Happy Memorial Day!!

Waiting Stage

While we are somewhat patiently waiting for the twins to arrive, we have been having a good time with my mother-in-law. We have been to Thanksgiving Point, Bridal Veil Falls, American Fork Canyon roasting marshmellows, and to many stores spending money.

Here are a few pictures.

This picture was taken the day I thought I was in labor and headed to the hospital, we got sent home 2 hours later. Look at that huge belly! (This is for you Nikki)!
