Not Identical!

For those that are interested we found out!

ONE GIRL
ONE BOY

Both of the babies seem very healthy. The boy is a little bigger than the girl, but hey that is how it is suppose to be, right!

Draper New Addition

Cody and Natalie welcomed their little girl into this world on January 31st. Congratulations. She is beautiful. We loved being able to see her and Taylor loved holding her (at least for 5 seconds).

Adventures with Grandma & Grandpa Bramhall

When G&G Bramhall come to Utah we always have a really good time. Taylor absolutely loves spending time with them and loves all the activities we get to do. This time we went to the Discovery Museum and the Dinosaur Museum. Of course we also went to dinner a few times, and got to spend the night at Big Mama's house.

Following in Dad's Ski Tracks!

Dave just couldn't wait to get Taylor out on the ski slopes. Unfortunately we chose the wrong day and it rained at Deer Valley so we only took Taylor skiing for about 20 minutes. We were pleased that he didn't cry and seemed to enjoy it. He definitely was excited for it. All morning he kept talking about skiing with daddy.

Dave said he didn't cry and didn't seem upset but every once in awhile he would say "All Done". I don't blame him though the rain was absolutely miserable. We where all soaking wet after 20 minutes.

Anyway, here is a clip of him skiing. They went up the magic carpet skied down and then went up the lift and skied down.

He is growing up!

I can't believe how much Taylor is growing up. He is definitely not my baby anymore. He repeats everything we say, he knows what he wants and when he wants it and how to get it, and he is learning to go potty on the toilet.

As his personality comes out I have found he is a little shy and attached to mom and dad. He won't let us leave nursery (I think that will change this week), and I take him to story time at the library and he won't leave the seat next to me. We are working on it though and I am making sure to take him to play date, the library and his little neighbor friend Nixon comes over and plays. Well, at least Nixon's parents and us swap on weekends to have a date together as a couple. Taylor stills cries a little when we leave him at Nixon's but it is only for a few minutes and Taylor loves it when Nixon is over.

Here are a few pictures Taylor the last few weeks.

Taylor after story time at the Library

We were making cookies and Taylor was being "helpful" and turned on the mixer at full speed, right after I had put the flour in. I love the sad lip.

This is Taylor's friend Nixon. They loved the ice cream...

and showing off their muscles.

Holiday Activities

Nikki's family came into town the day after Christmas, Cody's kids were spending the night at G&G, Lesa's kids were around so it was a party at the Draper house. It was pretty crazy and really loud but a lot of fun. We did find some time to go out and enjoy the weather. We went sledding and ice skating.

There were no injuries while sledding. Isaac seemed to be the most daring and had a few good falls. Everyone had a really good time including Taylor. He loved going with daddy on the sled.

It didn't cost anything for Taylor to go ice skating so we tried it out for about 10 minutes. That was long enough of my bending over to hold him up. He didn't seem to mind if I held him but the minute I let him try to stand on his own he freaked out. I don't blame him though, it was tough for him to stand on that slippery ice.

Christmas

With Dave working at Deer Valley as a ski instructor we spent our holiday season in Heber with my parents. We owe them a huge THANK YOU! We had so much fun being around everyone and just hanging out.

Christmas morning Dave, Casey and Brady left early in the morning to shovel. On their way back they wanted some food. So G&G Draper and myself got up and made breakfast. We didn't even open gifts until 8:30. I kind of enjoyed it. My pregnant appetite was very happy that I got to eat first. After breakfast we went downstairs to see what Santa brought for us. This year Taylor got a tool set from Santa, Leap Frog videos & letters from G&G Draper, a Geo Trak from G&G Bramhall, and lots of other fun and cute gifts. He was so fun because he just wanted to unwrap every gift he saw. He helped everyone open their gifts. Dave got two pair of skis which he purchased himself a few months ago and Tracie got a new camera (YEAH!!) and a new blender. Thanks to everyone for the gifts.

After we got through all the gifts we just hung out. There was a lot of snow on Christmas, which made me very happy, so we went out and played in it. Also some deer came into my parents back yard searching for food. That was fun to watch. Overall, it was a great Christmas.
